ROYSTON RIP: 12/25/1999 – 8/25/2015
Sadly, we had to put Royston to sleep today. He took another downward turn with little hope of him bouncing back this time around. I took him to the park this morning and we had a little sit in the sun then took him for a drive with the windows down. I’m glad we had a good day on Sunday with him. I think it’s George Carlin who said something along the lines of “To welcome an animal into your home is to invite tragedy into your life.” I knew this when we took Royston in and I wouldn’t change a thing, except for more time together. To me, he was the dog of dogs. I’m going to miss him more than I can say. He was my best friend.
I’ll be offline for a while but I’ll be back. I promise.
